Welcome!

Welcome!Welcome!Welcome!

I'm glad you're here.

I'm Meg (she/her), a therapist with a Temporary LPC-MHSP license, providing LGBTQ+ affirming and non-judgmental counseling and sex therapy in Tennessee.

Utilizing an existential approach, I am passionate about working with clients to reintegrate their heart, mind, body, and soul.

Specialties and Expertise:

  • LGBTQ+
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Trauma
  • Relationship issues
  • Life transitions
  • Identity
  • Sex therapy
  • Gender affirming care

Clients

I provide mental health counseling for individuals ages 12+ and couples. People of any race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, and disability status will find a safe and respectful space here. If you need accommodation for a disability, please reach out and I will work to provide care to the best of my ability.

I love to work with couples of all different relationship structures and dynamics. I do consultation calls with all couples before scheduling an intake.

Approach

I utilize several different therapeutic approaches such as person centered therapy, existential counseling, parts work, narrative therapy, and more while working with clients. Sex therapy and mental health therapy are often intertwined and interrelated.

I practice with an approach that is secular in nature; however, I am happy to incorporate the spirituality of the client as requested. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and hold a queer affirming, celebratory space.

I am committed to recognizing and challenging systems of oppression and power, often utilizing a deconstructive lens in my therapeutic work; I strive to create a safe space for all clients, with consideration and intentionality for the safety of my BIPOC clients and all clients with intersecting marginalized identities.

Practice and Training

I am a provisionally licensed therapist under the supervision of Dr. Corinne Webster. I am part of a small group practice called Rain Counseling; check us out at raincounseling.com.

I have completed 150 sex therapy education hours from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes and receive sex therapy supervision from Dra. Estefanía Simich Muñoz.
